This hotel exceeded our expectations in several ways. the location is fantastic. Situated in a beautiful neighborhood on a quiet street along the Vondelpark, it provided a peaceful and serene atmosphere throughout our stay. The surrounding area felt very safe, making our walks to and from the hotel a pleasant experience. Additionally, the staff were extremely friendly and attentive, ensuring that all our needs were met. The modern bathroom facilities in our room were a delightful surprise, and the view to the park added an extra touch of tranquility to our stay. Lastly, we thoroughly enjoyed the included breakfast - a great way to start off the day!
All was perfect.

Our stay was comfortable. The room was clean and the although there were a few language barriers, overall the staff were friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel was beautiful and the surrounding area during the weekdays and evenings was quiet and peaceful.
The bathroom towels could have been of a slightly better quality and size. It would also have been nice to have had coffee/tea making facilities available in the room. Also would have been beneficial to have had a laundry facility in the hotel. Found the extra bed supplied was only a camp-stretcher and yet we were charged and extra 32euro a night for it (bit expensive for what it was).

I spent my Easter weekend in a quiet suburb of a European city, where I stumbled across a quaint hotel. the room was spacious and overlooked a beautiful park. Breakfast was simple but satisfying. There were two tram stops nearby, making it easy to get into the city center. the staff was friendly and always willing to help with directions or recommendations for local restaurants.
Our room faced a busy street, which caused some noise late at night. the walls were thin which made it easy to hear noise from other rooms.

Great location with a view of the beautiful Vondelpark. Room was quiet. I haven't heard or seen any guests.
You had to check in before 10pm. I didn't realize this, and frankly I've never stayed in a hotel where you had to come this early. When I rang the bell at 11:15pm, the lady from the hotel was quite upset at me for coming at this time, which was not a nice way to arrive. The only way I could still pay was with cash, as the credit card machine was already 'switched off'. On the other hand, it was my fault for being late, so I guess I was lucky to still check in at this time, as it's not part of their policy. Room was tiny, but that's the case with many hotels in Amsterdam.

Well situated right on the Vondelpark. On the park side you look across a small canal and directly into the park. Close to tram but off the main streets (very quiet). Helpful staff. Not too far from the Leidseplein and the Museum district (both a 10-15 min walk). I have stayed here before and in spite of some issues I would stay here again.
May be a little too far for older guests to walk to the Centrum. Rooms are very small (single room anyway). Fine for a night or two/three but not for an extended stay unless you are out almost all the time. Breakfast is not included and is very average in selection. Internet is extra. Value is "average".

The rooms are comfortable and well-appointed, with some even featuring balconies that overlook the park. The staff are friendly and attentive, ensuring that all guests have a pleasant stay. Additionally, the breakfast, which is included in the price, provides a satisfying start to the day.
Everything was in satisfactory condition for a pleasant stay.

We got a special discount for Wi-Fi services (signal was weak at first) and were offered to stay in a room after our checkout for free before our flight.
Stairways are too narrow, especially when you moving to a 3rd floor (lift / elevator is closed during night hours).

The location of the hotel is great, just a short tram ride away from the city center. It is situated in a quiet residential neighborhood bordering the south side of beautiful Vondelpark, allowing for peaceful surroundings. Guests can easily explore the city's attractions and enjoy nature at the same time.
The Wi-Fi bandwidth is not that good and the internet can be slow at times.

Cool environment and the no smoking rule
The idea of closing the lift at night ostensibly for the noise, making the gust to have to climb 3 floors. Rather modern/silent lift should be used.

During my Christmas stay, I enjoyed the clean and comfy room offered. The location was perfect, nestled in a peaceful and cozy neighborhood but still only a short walk from the main attractions. The staff was helpful and friendly, ensuring that I had a great experience during my stay.
The cost of breakfast felt unreasonable, especially considering the lack of options available. the Wi-Fi was not free, which was inconvenient for staying connected with friends and family during the holidays.

I think the location is marvellous for anyone who wants peace and quiet rather than city-centre bustle. The park is wonderful, and the tram stop not that far away. I would suggest that the hotel website or booking form be clear regarding what tram to catch, and how to walk from the tram stop to the hotel: the road does fork a number of times, and it was a bit confusing in darkness.
My only problem was the rather early closure of the check-in desk: my flight was delayed, and so I arrived after ten, when the desk was closed. I was pleased, though, that the manager took the trouble to check me in, cheerfully and without complaint.

great location
it was the worst bed I've slept in for the last 35 years. The bathroom was for midgets, not northern Europeans. Breakfast was shockingly stingy.
